Man Hospitalised After Brutal Attack Outside Streatham Restaurant

Police hunt attacker after victim left with serious head injury in Streatham assault.

Attack Sparks Emergency Response

Officers rushed to Mikrus Restaurant on Streatham High Road at around 2am on Saturday, 11 July, following reports of a violent assault.

A 42-year-old man was found with a serious head injury and was quickly taken to hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Police Appeal to Public for Help

CID detectives from Walworth are leading the investigation. They are desperate to identify a suspect captured on footage.

“This was a very serious assault which has left a man in hospital with a significant injury,” said DC Oliver Honeybun-Arnolda. “A lone suspect, believed to be a white man, was seen running north along the High Road after the attack. We urge anyone with information or who recognises this man to come forward.”

No Arrests Yet, Enquiries Ongoing

Police have made no arrests so far. The investigation is ongoing, and officers continue to follow up on leads.
