New Appeal to Find Missing Sheerness Man Spotted on CCTV
Erdmanis Liepa, 30, was last seen at a shop in Melody Close, Warden, around 12:45pm on Monday 16 May 2022. CCTV from the store shows him wearing a grey hooded jumper. Police believe he may still be in the nearby area.
Latest Sightings and Description
The following day, Erdmanis was spotted in the Windmill Road area of Gillingham, this time sporting a yellow polo shirt. He stands around 5ft 10in tall with a slim build, brown hair tied in a top knot, and wears glasses.
Ongoing Searches as Police Urge Public to Help
Officers continue to comb the Warden, Queenborough, Sheerness, and Minster areas. They urge residents to check gardens and outbuildings, as Erdmanis may be using these for shelter.
His last known locations before these sightings were Bow Arrow Lane, Dartford on 21 April, and Southdown Road, Minster on 28 April. Kent Police were alerted to his disappearance on 25 April.
Inspector Paul Stoner said: “Although we are reassured by the recent sightings, we still want to find Erdmanis to check on his wellbeing. The public’s response has been fantastic and provided vital leads. Their continued support is crucial to bringing him home safe.”
