Major search launched after child is seen entering South East London Pond – UKNIP
 
A major search in underway involving Police Paramedics and a  water rescue search teams from the London fire Brigade  after a young child was seen entering the water.
 

Police have cordoned off the wood area and a scene and search area has been established.

 
Specialist water rescue trained fire crews have also been scrambled to the incident to assist Police in locating the missing boy.
The incident in currently on going 
 
A spokesman for the Met Police said: Police were called at approximately 6.10pm  on Friday, 4 September by a member of the public who reported a boy had entered a pond in Lessness Wood, SE2.
Officers remain on scene and continue to investigate the incident.
