Man Arrested Over Brutal 2020 North London Attack

Victim Injured in June 2020 Assault

A 45-year-old man suffered facial injuries in a vicious attack on 23 June 2020. Police quickly launched an investigation and released images of a man they wanted to question.

Break in Case as Suspect Arrested

On Friday 26 January, a 30-year-old man turned himself in at a north London police station. He was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH). The suspect has since been bailed until late March, pending further inquiries.

Ongoing Investigation

Police continue to probe the incident and urge anyone with information to come forward. Witnesses can contact North Area CID by calling 101 or tweeting @MetCC with reference CAD7416/24Feb.
