Crack cocaine and heroin were cracked wide open under pillows in Margate — landing a London county line dealer behind bars.

Dealer Caught Red-Handed Under Pillow

Andrea Brown, 41, was found fast asleep on a sofa when Kent Police swooped on a Margate home in Surrey Road at 6am on 15 July 2020. Hiding spot? A stash of 48 wraps of Class A drugs tucked beneath the pillows she’d been resting on.

Officers also seized Brown’s mobile phone. Detective work traced it back to a notorious Margate drug line. Her purse held £170 in cash, believed to be dirty money.

Five Years Behind Bars for Brown

The Greater London resident pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin, plus possession of criminal property. On 5 March 2021, Canterbury Crown Court locked her up for five years and seven months.

Detective Constable Jake Griffiths said: “The misuse of drugs damages lives and fuels crime. We will keep smashing supply networks in our communities. Brown and others like her prey on new markets outside London — Kent won’t tolerate it.”
