Man Stabbed to Death at Illegal London Rave
Police were called just before midnight on Saturday, 26 June, after reports of a stabbing inside an industrial unit on Stockholm Road, SE16. An unlicensed music event was underway at the scene.
Fatal Stabbing at Secret Rave
Officers and London Ambulance Service arrived to find an unidentified man suffering stab wounds. Despite emergency efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives are still working to identify him and notify next of kin. A post-mortem will be scheduled shortly.
Teen Injured and Arrested
A 16-year-old male was also found with head injuries at the venue. He was rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening wounds. Police have since arrested him in connection with the stabbing.
Police Launch Homicide Investigation
The investigation is being led by Specialist Crime homicide detectives. Officers want anyone who attended the illegal event or witnessed anything suspicious to come forward. Witnesses should call 101 quoting reference CAD 8848/26JUN.
