Words from the Top
“I hope as many Kent children as possible take up this challenge. It’s a fantastic way to boost literacy and spark creativity,” said Shellina Prendergast, KCC’s Cabinet Member for Education and Skills. “I’m excited to see the brilliant ideas our young people come up with.”
Mike Ward from the KM Charity Team added, “We’re thrilled to support Kent’s Big Writing Challenge. If this helps just one child fall in love with literacy, it’s a massive success.”
How to Enter
The competition is funded by the Reconnect programme, which aims to help kids catch up on experiences missed during the Covid-19 pandemic. The KM Charity Team handles entries, judging, and organising the awards.
