Emergency Called to Bath Street Stabbing

Emergency services rushed to Bath Street in St Ann’s after reports of a violent attack on July 18, 2022. Paramedics found a 47-year-old man unconscious on the pavement with severe facial injuries.

Suspect Charged with Grievous Bodily Harm

Following a thorough police investigation, officers charged Adrian Gilbert, 32, with causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Gilbert, from Windmill Lane, Sneinton, was remanded in custody after appearing at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on July 23.

Police Vow Tough Action Against Violence

Detective James Hirst of Nottinghamshire Police said: “The victim suffered serious facial injuries and lost consciousness after this attack. This type of violence is completely unacceptable and will never be tolerated.”

He added, “We are pleased a suspect has been charged and criminal proceedings have begun.”

Next Court Date Set for August

Adrian Gilbert is due back in Nottingham Crown Court on August 22, 2022, as the investigation continues.
