Hate Crime Horror in Bournemouth: Woman and Her Dog Targeted in Racial Attack
Beer Poured and Abuse Hurls at Woman Near One Stop
At around 4:30pm on Friday, 30 September 2022, a woman in her 40s was on Jewell Road near One Stop when trouble struck. A group of two men and a woman began swearing at her with vile racial slurs.
One of the men then poured beer over her shoulder and leg, drenching her and her small dog.
Attack Continues Inside the Shop
The abusive trio followed her into the shop. Inside, the two men kept up the racial insults and even pushed the victim.
Police Launch Hunt for Suspects
Police Constable Andrew Kelly from Bournemouth Police said: “This was understandably a distressing incident for the victim. We have been carrying out a number of enquiries to identify those involved.
“Hate crime reports are taken very seriously. We owe it to victims to follow every lead. I’m now releasing a CCTV image of two men we want to identify. If you recognise them, please get in touch.”
