Armed police swarmed Derrick House in Tulse Hill on Friday evening after a 20-year-old man was shot. Officers and paramedics were called to the scene around 9:40pm. Heavy police presence seals off crime scene
The shooting took place on the first floor of Derrick House. The building is now sealed off with cordon tape as officers guard both the top and bottom of the stairwell. Armed units, police, and London Air Ambulance teams were all on site, highlighting the seriousness of the incident.
Ambulance Service details response
“We were called at 9.45pm to reports of an incident at Derrick House, Tulse Hill,” said a London Ambulance Service spokesperson. “We sent an ambulance crew, a tactical response unit, a fast response medic, and dispatched a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a person at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
