A 17-year-old moped rider is fighting for recovery after a nasty smash with a cyclist who vanished without a trace.
The crash happened at 6.48pm at the busy junction of Spixworth Road and Chartwell Road. The teen was on an orange Zontes ZT125 moped when he collided with a man on a red bike. The cyclist didn’t stop and sped off, leaving the injured rider bleeding on the road.
The teen was rushed to Norfolk and norwich/" title="Norwich" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Norwich Hospital and remains there awaiting further treatment.
Police Chase Cyclist Who Fled Scene
Officers are hunting a man in his 40s to 50s seen riding a red bike. Witnesses say he dashed down St Clements Hill straight after the crash.
