Knife attack in Denton: Three injured but no life-threatening wounds
Stabbing Sparks Emergency Response
Shortly after 9.30am today, Greater Manchester Police swooped on Yew Tree Road, Denton, following reports of a stabbing. Emergency crews rushed to the scene where a woman was found injured.
Victims Taken to Hospital
The woman was taken to hospital with wounds that, thankfully, are not believed to be life-threatening. Two more people connected to the incident also arrived at hospital with serious injuries. Police say their lives are not at risk.
Investigation Underway with Extra Patrols
Officers have described the incident as isolated, with no ongoing threat to the public. Despite this, GMP will ramp up patrols in the area to reassure local residents.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Sergeant Pete Goddard said: “A scene will continue while we carry out further searches and enquiries. If you have questions or concerns, speak to our officers – they are here to help.”
