Greater Manchester Police have launched an investigation after shocking vandalism targeted Liverpool’s team bus following Manchester City’s stunning 4-1 win at the Etihad Stadium. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and the damaged bus made it safely back to Merseyside.
City Condemns Bus Attack
Manchester City released a strong statement condemning the act of criminal damage. “Incidents of this kind are unacceptable, and we strongly condemn the actions of the individual(s) responsible,” the club said.

Disgust Over Offensive Chants
City also slammed home fans’ chants referencing the 1989 Hillsborough disaster, which claimed 97 Liverpool lives. The club expressed deep regret for any offence caused.
They pledged to work closely with supporter groups and officials from both sides to wipe out hateful chanting surrounding this heated fixture once and for all.
