Woman Caught Driving on Two Flat Tyres – Drunk Driving Charge Follows
Kent Police sprang into action after spotting a car with two flat tyres cruising around Vale Square, Ramsgate, on Monday, June 13, 2022. Suspicion quickly arose that the driver was under the influence.
Rebecca Huckle, 39, Busted for Drunk Driving
Rebecca Huckle, 39, with no fixed address, was charged with drunk driving the very next day. She was granted bail and is set to face Margate Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, July 19.
Police Deliver Stern Warning to Drivers
“As people enjoy the summer months, we remind motorists that consuming alcohol or drugs then driving puts your life and others in danger,” said PC Dave Sansum.
“Officers across the county now have the tools to test drivers for cannabis, cocaine, and alcohol. Specially trained officers can also spot any impairment caused by intoxicants. We urge everyone to play their part in keeping the roads safe.”
