Josh Eno Ditches Court Appearance
Josh Eno, 25, locked up at HMP Belmarsh, snubbed the court completely. He didn’t appear in person or via video link, forcing a delay in his sentencing hearing.
Victim Shot Over £20,000 Stolen BMW
Eno was found guilty last month of murdering 21-year-old Rico Andrews. The deadly incident took place on 5 October 2023 in Battersea after a bitter row about a stolen £20,000 BMW motorbike.
Emergency crews rushed to Shuttleworth Road at about 9:50pm but found Andrews with a fatal gunshot wound to the chest. Paramedics battled to save him but he was declared dead at the scene.
Judge Calls Eno’s Court No-Show “Ridiculous”
Judge Philip Katz KC slammed Eno’s stunt as “ridiculous”. He said, “It’s ridiculous when we are manipulated by someone refusing to get out of bed,” showing clear frustration at the killer’s defiance.
