Emergency services were called to a disused RSPCA building in New Addington following reports of smoke billowing from the property.

The London Fire Brigade dispatched three fire engines from stations in Croydon and New Addington after receiving the call at approximately 4:30 p.m. Police officers also attended the scene to assist with safety measures.
