DJ Tim Westwood Faces 11 Sex Assault Charges Spanning 30 Years
Westwood to Appear in Court This November
Hip-hop legend Tim Westwood is slammed with nine counts of indecent assault and two counts of sexual assault. The charges, involving seven women, cover a chilling 33-year period. Westwood is set to face Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 11 November.

- 1983: 17-year-old girl indecently assaulted in Fulham
- 1986: Woman in her 20s sexually assaulted in Vauxhall
- 1995-1996: Teen girl aged 17-18 raped and sexually assaulted in London
- 2000-2001: Another 17-18-year-old raped and sexually assaulted in London
- 2010: Woman in her 20s raped in London
- 2010: Woman in her 20s sexually assaulted in Stroud
- 2016: Woman in her 20s sexually assaulted in Finchley
Police Urge Other Victims to Step Forward
“It takes courage to come forward and report allegations of this nature,” said Detective Superintendent Andy Furphy of the Met Police. “The women who have done so have put their trust in us and we continue to provide them with all available support.”
“Our investigation remains open. Anyone affected or with information is urged to contact a dedicated team via email. Reports will be handled confidentially by specialist officers.”
