Police are hunting for dashcam footage and witnesses after a nasty collision on the M20 near Maidstone.
Crash Details: Late-Night Smash Between Polo and Van
Just before midnight on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, a grey Volkswagen Polo smashed into a white Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van on the coastbound carriageway between junctions 8 and 9.
The Polo driver, a man in his 20s, suffered serious injuries. Emergency services airlifted him to a London hospital, where he remains in critical condition. His next of kin have been informed.
The van driver escaped with minor injuries and has now been discharged from hospital.
Police Urge Motorists to Check Dashcams
Kent Polices Serious Collision Investigation Unit is leading the inquiry. They want anyone who was driving in the area at the time to check their dashcams for footage that could help.
