A 21-year-old from New Brighton has been locked up for producing and distributing indecent images of children. Charlie Clark’s vile actions have finally caught up with him.
Lengthy Sentence at Liverpool Crown Court
On Thursday 20 November, Clark was sentenced to two years and four months at Liverpool Crown Court. He was found guilty of eight counts of malicious communications for sending offensive and obscene material online. His crimes also include making images of a child, breaching the Computer Misuse Act 1990, and possession of drugs such as ketamine and MDMA.
Lifetime Restraining Orders and Sex Offender Registration
Clark faces indefinite restraining orders protecting four of his victims for life. In addition, he was slapped with a 10-year sexual harm prevention order and must remain on the sex offenders’ register for the next decade.
This verdict sends a strong message: predators exploiting children online will be hunted down and punished.
