Detective Praises Victims’ Bravery Amid Tough Investigation

“This was a highly complex and difficult case to investigate,” said Detective Constable Jen Botting, who led the probe. “Without the courage of the victims coming forward, securing this conviction would have been impossible.”

DC Botting also revealed how Taylor’s not guilty plea forced the victims to relive their trauma during the court battle. The sentence offers them much-needed closure and justice.

Suffolk Police Vow to Support Victims and Pursue Justice

Reaffirming Suffolk Police’s commitment, DC Botting stressed the force’s vow to thoroughly investigate all sexual abuse claims. She urged other victims to speak out without fear, promising the highest level of support and care.
