Shock robbery in Brenchley Gardens park – man attacked and cash stolen
Kent Police sprang into action after a 50-something man was mugged in broad daylight at Brenchley Gardens.
Brutal attack caught on CCTV
The incident unfolded around 5pm on Monday, 3 October 2022. The victim was strolling through the park when four young men allegedly jumped him and made off with cash from his wallet.
Suspects nabbed and bailed
Thanks to swift patrols and CCTV checks, two local 19-year-olds were arrested the very next day under suspicion of robbery. Both have since been bailed and must report back to the police station on 31 October as the probe continues.
