Damage Discovered Early Morning
Two men were spotted on CCTV slashing beer lines at the WhiteCliffs Café in Saltdean just after midnight on 4 December. Staff found the damage when they opened early this morning.
Knife-Wielding Duo Leave Deep Cuts
Reviewing the footage, police saw one suspect carrying what looks like an 8-10 inch knife. The pair caused deep slashes in two beer lines, disrupting the café’s service.
Police Appeal for Public Help
Sussex Police have visited the scene and are now hunting the culprits. Officers urge the public to come forward, saying even if faces aren’t clear, people might recognise the suspects by their walk, posture, or mannerisms.
