Young Man Fatally Stabbed Outside Surrey Pub
Shock and horror struck Surrey after 23-year-old Alfonso Sibley was fatally stabbed outside The Wheatsheaf pub on Kingston Road. The attack happened around 3:30pm on Tuesday, December 9.
Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of a stabbing. Despite desperate efforts by paramedics, police, and bystanders, Alfonso tragically died at the scene.
Teenager Charged with Murder, Others Arrested
In a dramatic twist, a 15-year-old boy has been charged with Alfonso’s murder. The teenager appeared at Guildford Magistrates Court on December 15 and is remanded until his next hearing on December 22.
Meanwhile, three others — a 15-year-old, a 17-year-old, and a 20-year-old man — were arrested on suspicion of murder but have since been released on police bail.
Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
Surrey Police are pleading for anyone who saw the stabbing to come forward and help with their ongoing investigation.
