Tragedy in Lambeth: 11-Year-Old Girl Killed in Horror Crash
Detectives are urgently hunting witnesses after a fatal smash in Lambeth claimed the life of an 11-year-old girl. The tragic collision took place just before 1pm on Friday, 12 December, at the busy junction of Garrads Road and Tooting Bec Road.
The young girl was struck by a car and rushed to hospital by London Ambulance Service. Despite desperate attempts to save her, she sadly passed away on Monday, 5 January.
Driver Arrested But Now on Bail
A 54-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing injury by dangerous driving and driving under the influence. He has since been released on bail as police carry on with their investigation.
