A 27-year-old Reading man has been slammed with nearly three years behind bars for running a massive drugs operation.

Piotr Florek’s Big Bust

Piotr Florek, of Basingstoke Road, was handed a 2 year and 9 month jail sentence at Reading Crown Court on Wednesday 11 February. He admitted to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs like cocaine and MDMA, plus cannabis, a Class B drug.

Massive Drug Haul Stuns Police

Last November, cops swooped on Florek’s home using a Section 18 search warrant. What they found was staggering:

  • 19g Cannabis
  • 7g Cocaine
  • 398g Ketamine
  • 248g Crystal MDMA
  • 1,654 MDMA tablets
  • 7g of 3-CMC

The total street value of the Class A drugs alone hit a jaw-dropping £50,680.

Locked Up, Message Sent

Florek’s hefty sentence is a warning shot to Reading’s drug dealers: police and courts are cracking down hard. This case underlines the ongoing fight to keep deadly drugs off the streets and protect local communities.
