Police in Bradford have hit the streets with live facial recognition vans targeting known offenders in the city centre.
Five Arrested Over Serious Crimes
On Saturday, cops arrested five individuals linked to six past offences. The charges include domestic violence, resisting arrest, breaching restraining orders, and failing Drug Intervention Programme requirements.
Checks on Court-Ordered Offenders
Additionally, officers engaged with three people under court orders to ensure they are complying with their conditions.
“Our Live Facial Recognition vans were operational in Bradford city centre on Saturday where they were used to target known offenders,” police said.
