Brutal Dad Slain in Nottingham Street Horror
Nottingham was rocked in April 2022 when 33-year-old father Ricardo Cotteral was savagely stabbed on Broad Street, Hockley. Despite fleeing in terror, Ricardo was relentlessly chased down by attackers Malcolm Francis, Daniel Francis, and Richard Anderson, who dealt fatal blows. He collapsed and died on the pavement, leaving the community in shock.

Mum and Daughter Jailed for Helping Killer Hide
Elisha Faulkner, 30, and her 64-year-old mother Julie Faulkner, both from Birmingham, admitted hiding Malcolm Francis for five weeks after the murder. Nottingham Crown Court handed Elisha three years behind bars and Julie two-and-a-half years on 2 March.
More Caught in the Murder Cover-Up
- Kimberley Tomlinson, 31, of Olton Avenue, Nottingham, was sentenced to a two-year suspended term after being convicted of assisting an offender.
- Julian McDonald, 35, from Thurcaston Road, Leicester, also found guilty of assisting an offender. He faces sentencing later this month.
