Action Skip Hire Limited in Birmingham has been hit with a £9,495.50 fine after ignoring a court order to clear rubbish from their Digbeth site. Birmingham Magistrates Court demanded all waste be removed by 7 October 2025, but Environment Agency inspectors found the site still piled high with waste on 8 October.
Repeat Offenders Face Steep Penalties

- Just months earlier, in July 2025, Action Skip Hire was fined over £48,000 for illegally operating the site without an environmental permit.
- Despite warnings and outreach attempts, the firm refused to remove the rubbish or ask for more time.

Action Skip Hire Limited was charged under Regulation 44 of the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 for ignoring the Birmingham Magistrates Court’s July 2025 order to clear the Digbeth waste.
