Jessika’s Dream Trip Turns Deadly
Jessika Chagnon Gailloux, 35, a mother of four from Quebec, tragically died just hours after a tummy tuck and breast lift in a private clinic in Antalya, Turkey. The operation on March 2 seemed to go smoothly, but soon afterward Jessika fell gravely ill in her hospital room and passed away around 4pm that day.
Police Launch Investigation Amid Mystery
Homicide detectives arrived at the Antalya hospital immediately, treating Jessika’s sudden death as suspicious. Prosecutors are now overseeing the probe. Authorities found no external injuries besides normal surgical stitches. Her body was taken for a full autopsy at the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute.
Family Pleads for Privacy
Jessika’s friend, Stephanie Jobin, who accompanied her to Turkey and is managing embassy and travel matters, called for respect online. “Jessika was an extraordinary woman and a deeply loving mother,” she said. “Her children are old enough to be on social media. Please be sensitive.”
