Thames Valley Police are hunting a violent bike thief after a brawl outside Milton Keynes College.

Man Fights Off Thief in Brutal Bike Snatch

At 1:50pm on Monday, 2 March 2026, a thug in his thirties tried to rip a bike from the racks outside Milton Keynes College on Chaffron Way. The intended victim grabbed hold, but the robber yanked hard, dragging him to the ground. The attacker then punched the man and threw another blow before fleeing – empty-handed thanks to the victim’s fierce fightback.

Victim Walks Away with Minor Injuries

The courageous victim escaped serious harm, suffering only minor injuries and did not need hospital treatment.

Policing Plea: Help Identify This Man

Detective Constable Tony Miles of the Milton Keynes Priority Crime Team urged:

“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this or has information that may assist us to please get in touch. If you recognise the man in the image, or if this is you, please contact us as we think this person may have information to assist our investigation.”
