A woman in her 20s is fighting for her life after a brutal stabbing in Oldham. Police have arrested two men and a teenage boy in connection with the attack.
Violence on Greenwood Street
Officers rushed to Greenwood Street around 10.40pm on Friday, 27 March, after reports of a vicious assault. They found the victim with serious stabbing injuries.
She was rushed to the hospital, where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
Three Arrested, One Still in Custody
- A man in his 20s is held on suspicion of Section 18 assault and remains in custody.
- A second man and a juvenile boy, both also suspects, were released on bail pending further inquiries.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
“This is a serious incident and our thoughts remain firmly with the victim at this time,” said Detective Inspector Mike Ogiliev of the Oldham district team.
“We believe this is an isolated event with no wider threat to the community. We urge anyone with dashcam, CCTV, or mobile footage from the area at the time to come forward.”
