A man was shot dead near Church Street on Lord Warwick Street at around 3.40pm today, April 2. Officers and London Ambulance Service crews rushed to the scene but the victim was pronounced dead immediately. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Three Men Arrested Over Brutal Shooting
Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the killing and remain in police custody as the investigation heats up.
Police Hunt Witnesses and CCTV Footage
Detective Chief Inspector Lucie Card, leading the probe, said: “Our thoughts remain with the victim’s family and loved ones. We understand the community’s concerns and have already made three arrests. The investigation is moving fast. “I urge anyone who was nearby, or has dash cam or CCTV footage, or any information, to come forward.”
