Two Dead and One Seriously Injured in Houghton Regis Hit-and-Run Horror
Police were called just before 1.20am on Sunday, 13 November, after reports a man was struck by a vehicle on Tithe Farm Road, Houghton Regis.
Emergency crews found two men – one in his late 20s and another in his late 30s – dead at the scene. A third man, also in his late 20s, was rushed to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Man in 30s Arrested Over Double Murder and Attempted Murder
Officers swiftly arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. He remains in custody as the investigation heats up.

“This was a shocking incident in a busy area that has rocked the local community,” said T/Detective Superintendent Carl Foster. “We’ve got a dedicated team on this case and increased police presence in town. We’re determined to bring those responsible to justice and support the families impacted during this difficult time.”
“The public’s response has been incredible. We urge anyone with information to come forward. This level of violence won’t be tolerated, and we’re working hard to prevent any more incidents like this.”
