Armed Police Swarm Saxon Road After Man’s Welfare Fears
Police rushed to Saxon Road at 2.12pm on Thursday, 21 January, after concerns were raised about a man’s welfare inside a property.

Specialist firearms officers joined the scene as a precaution, with multiple units in attendance to safely handle the tense situation.
Arrest Made the Next Day
On Friday, 22 January, officers arrested a man on suspicion of firearm possession. He remains in custody as investigations continue.
