Teen Stabs Man in Broad Daylight in Basildon
A man in his 30s suffered serious injuries after a brutal stabbing by a teenager in Basildon’s The Upway yesterday afternoon.
Knife Attack Sparks Chaos at The Upway
The violent clash erupted around 2pm following an argument between the two males at a local address. Police rushed to the scene to find the victim with stab wounds. The suspect fled on foot before officers could detain him.
A witness described the chilling moment: “I saw a boy waving a knife around but didn’t see the actual stabbing. It was only when I saw the guy being supported that I realised the knife was lodged in his back. Lots of people were arguing out there afterwards.”
Emergency Teams Rush to Scene, Hunt Underway
Multiple emergency vehicles, including forensics and an East of England Ambulance Service air ambulance, responded swiftly. The air ambulance landed in nearby Gloucester Park to airlift the victim to hospital.
Police have taped off the area and are door knocking locals and reviewing CCTV footage as the investigation continues.

The victim remains in serious condition. Police are appealing for anyone with information to call 101 quoting incident 674 of 13 September.
