Teen Dies After Brutal Street Attack in Northampton
An 18-year-old man was savagely punched multiple times on Abington Street near Market Square at around 4.30pm on Saturday, August 20. He was rushed to hospital with serious injuries but tragically died the following day.
Three Arrested Over Fatal Assault
Police have arrested three suspects connected to the violent attack: a 36-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, both now released under investigation, and an 18-year-old man who remains in custody as inquiries continue.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
“This is such a terrible loss of a young life,” said Senior Investigating Officer Detective Inspector Simon Barnes of the East Midlands Special Operations Unit Major Crime Team. “At the age of 18, the victim had his entire life ahead of him. Our hearts go out to his family, partner, and friends during this difficult time.”
