Woman Stabbed to Death in Clapham Road Horror
Police were scrambled to Clapham Road, SW9, at around 9.10pm on Sunday, 27 December, after reports of a violent disturbance.
Emergency teams found a woman in her 20s with stab wounds. Despite their desperate efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Man Arrested on Murder Suspicion
A 27-year-old man, known to the victim, was arrested nearby on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody while officers dig into the chilling case.
Investigation Ongoing as Post-Mortem Planned
Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime unit are probing the circumstances surrounding the attack. A post-mortem is set for Tuesday, 29 December, as officers work to identify and inform the victim’s next of kin.
