Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Wednesbury Road Crash

West Midlands Ambulance Service rushed to a road traffic collision (RTC) on Wednesbury Road at 6:13pm Tuesday. A car had struck a man on foot, leaving him seriously hurt on the pavement.

Emergency Crews On Scene in Minutes

An ambulance, paramedic officer, and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car arrived within three minutes.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Crews arrived to find the pedestrian, a man, on the floor with potentially serious injuries.”

Life-Saving Treatment and Rapid Hospital Transfer

Paramedics and the critical care team worked quickly to stabilise the man at the scene. The critical care paramedic immediately alerted Walsall Manor Hospital’s Trauma Desk to prepare for the patient’s arrival.

The injured man was then rushed to hospital with blue lights and sirens blazing for urgent further care.
