Tragic Deaths of Natalie and Baby Harry in Whitehaven

Natalie Kane, in her 20s, and her one-year-old son Harry Kane were found dead at a Whitehaven home on December 30. Police were called to an address on Wellington Row at around 2.50pm after concerns about Natalie’s wellbeing.

Officers confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances, and the coroner has been notified.

Friends Rally to Support Family with GoFundMe

Friends of Natalie’s brother Shane have launched a GoFundMe page to raise £6,000 for a fitting send-off for Natalie and Harry. So far, over £3,800 has been donated.

Any extra funds will go to Women Out West, a charity that supported Natalie during difficult times. The page reads: “This charity helped Natalie out so much and Shane is so pleased they were there for her. This is the best way to say thank you.”

Memorial Event at Maryport Prom

A remembrance gathering is set for Friday at Maryport Prom. Attendees are invited to bring pink and blue balloons plus a Budweiser—Natalie’s favourite drink—to honour her and baby Harry.

The event begins at 7pm.
