Violent Notting Hill Attack: Woman Beat Up in Shocking Carnival Brawl

Detectives have released chilling footage after a brutal attack on an innocent 19-year-old woman during the Notting Hill Carnival. The young woman was caught in the crossfire of a vicious street fight on Ladbroke Grove and left seriously injured.

Blow to the Head with Gas Canister

At around 7.05pm on Monday, 29 August, two groups of men clashed violently in Ladbroke Grove. Amid the chaos, the woman was struck in the head with a gas canister before being punched and kicked to the ground. The attackers then fled in opposite directions.

Police Appeal for Witnesses to Step Forward

Detective Constable Sam Packer, leading the investigation, said:

“The victim was left very seriously injured in hospital. Although she’s been discharged, she still needs ongoing treatment. She is a completely innocent member of the public attacked without any warning by people intent on violence. If you were there or have any footage, please come forward.”
