Authorities in Canterbury are urging the public to come forward with any information regarding two concerning incidents, as they release a CCTV image of a man believed to be connected to the events.
The incidents, both reported in March of this year, have raised alarms in the local community, prompting a thorough investigation by Kent Police.
The first incident occurred on March 16, 2024, when a woman walking to her car in Brymore Road encountered an unknown man around 5:40 PM. According to the woman’s report, the man attempted to engage her in conversation as she proceeded to her vehicle. After she entered her car and drove away, the man allegedly watched her departure.
Just one day later, on March 17, the same woman reported another encounter with the individual, this time in Sturry Road at approximately 4:15 PM. In this instance, the man allegedly attempted to open her car door before swiftly leaving the scene in a vehicle.
In response to the reports, Kent Police have launched a comprehensive investigation, conducting house-to-house inquiries and reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity. Now, authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual captured in the released CCTV image.
