Appeal for Witnesses Following Fatal Collision in Broadstairs

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding a tragic collision that occurred in Broadstairs.

The incident took place at approximately 1:50 pm on Thursday, February 15, 2024, along Margate Road, in the direction of Westwood Roundabout. A white Ford Fiesta was travelling along the road when it was involved in a collision with a bronze Toyota Yaris.

Tragically, the passenger in the Ford Fiesta, identified as a woman in her 80s, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Ford Fiesta, a man in his 90s, and the driver of the Toyota Yaris sustained minor injuries and received medical attention.

In the aftermath of the collision, law enforcement officials have been conducting thorough investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. As part of these efforts, they are appealing to any witnesses who may have been present at the scene or have relevant dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward and assist with their inquiries.
