Warwickshire Police Smash Suspected Chop Shop in Hurley

Warwickshire Police have torn into a suspected chop shop after uncovering a stash of stolen vehicles at an industrial unit in Hurley.

Tip-Off Leads to Arrest

Officers struck on Tuesday following a tip-off about a stolen car spotted near North Warwickshire, close to the West Midlands border. On arrival, they found the reported vehicle along with two more believed to be nicked.

More Stolen Motors and Car Parts Found

A dawn search the next day at the Hurley Hall unit revealed another stolen car and parts from a fifth vehicle. The site is reportedly being used to strip stolen cars and flog the parts on the sly.

One Man Arrested, Probe Continues

A 39-year-old Solihull man was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods. Police have sealed off the site and are relentlessly hunting leads.

“We’ll be working hard to reunite the stolen cars with their rightful owners as soon as possible,” Warwickshire Police said.
