Armed Police Tackle Stabbing Stand-Off in Lincoln
Armed cops faced a tense, hours-long stand-off after a man was found with life-threatening stab wounds at a property in Lincoln. The shocking incident happened on Ellison Street, Bracebridge, on Friday afternoon.
Victim Rushed to Hospital, Remains Critical
Lincolnshire Police arrived at the scene at 3.47pm to find the seriously injured man. He was rushed to hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Three Arrested on Attempted Murder Charges
- A 27-year-old and a 37-year-old woman were arrested straight away at the property.
- A 34-year-old man was later detained at 4.15am following delicate negotiations with armed officers.
- All three face suspicion of attempted murder.
Road Closure and Ongoing Police Probe
The surrounding roads remain shut as police dig deeper into the attack. Officers urge anyone with information or footage to come forward.
“We are taking this incident very seriously and are working diligently to understand the full circumstances,” a Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said. “We encourage anyone who might have seen or heard something to contact us ASAP.”
