Crews from Woking, Chobham, Guildford, and Camberley, including the Turntable Ladder unit, rushed to the scene. The fire completely engulfed the derelict building, leaving behind a smouldering burnt-out shell.

Surrey Police quickly sealed off the area with a cordon. A joint investigation with Surrey Fire and Rescue Service is now underway to determine the cause, with arson the prime suspect.

Firefighters are still using two hose reels and two jets to control the fire, expected to be on site into the early hours as they contain the well-developed blaze.
