Gun Violence Spoils Holiday Celebrations Across America

This grisly incident came amid nationwide festivities gearing up for the Fourth of July. Meanwhile, in Kansas, seven people suffered gunshot wounds, and two others were hospitalised after a nightclub stampede turned deadly early Sunday.

Baltimore Authorities Vow Justice

All Baltimore victims were adults. Nine were rushed by ambulance; 20 others made their own way to hospitals with gunshot injuries. An 18-year-old woman was found dead at the scene. A 20-year-old man died shortly after arriving at hospital, police confirmed.

Mayor Brandon Scott slammed the attackers: “We will not stop until we find you, and we will find you. Until then, I hope that every single breath you take, that you think about the lives that you took, think about the lives that you impacted here tonight.”

No arrests have been made yet. Mayor Scott urged witnesses to come forward and help track down the “cowards” behind this horrific attack. Police remained on scene for hours, combing the densely packed two-story housing blocks for evidence.
