Body Found by Canal Path in Ilkeston Sparks Police Probe
Police were called to a grim discovery near a canal path in Ilkeston around 3pm on Friday, 5 March.
Officers arrived to find a body close to Hallam Fields Road. The identity of the deceased and circumstances around the death remain a mystery.
Crime Scene Investigation Underway
Police and crime scene experts are combing the area. They expect to stay onsite for several days as they piece together what happened.
