A 15-year-old boy was fatally stabbed during a disturbance on a Streetstreet in england/manchester/”>Manchester, prompting a major murder investigation by Greater Manchester Police (GMP).

Incident Details

The attack occurred on Monton Street in scotland/moss-side-scotland/”>moss-side/”>moss-side-england/”>Moss Side just after 4.30pm on Monday, 15 September 2025. Emergency services were called following reports of a disturbance involving multiple individuals.

Upon arrival, police discovered the boy with multiple stab wounds. He received treatment at the scene before being transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

Investigation and Community Response

GMP has not yet named the victim, and no arrests have been made. A senior officer described the murder as “an appalling act” and has issued a call for witnesses to come forward.
