Jewellery and Cash Snatched in Freshwater Burglary

Police are hunting thieves after a brazen burglary in Freshwater saw cash and precious jewellery stolen.

Raid in Broad Daylight

The break-in happened at a home on Afton Road between 10.30am and 2.30pm on Monday, October 17. The burglars made off with four gold rings, a cherished bracelet, and £150 in cash.

Sentimental Bracelet Stolen

PC Hayley from Isle of Wight CID revealed the bracelet held priceless meaning to the victim. “It belonged to her mother, who passed away 11 years ago. The owner desperately wants it back,” she said.

Police Appeal for Info

“Did you spot anyone acting suspiciously in the area?” PC Hayley asked. “You might know where the stolen items are or who has them.”
