Daring Jewellery Heist in Southampton: Thieves Strike During Broad Daylight

Burglars Blitz £2,500 Worth of Bling and Cash

Two masked men brazenly forced their way into a Southampton home in broad daylight, ripping off £2,500 in cash and wedding rings. The attack happened between 1.30pm and 1.40pm on Monday, January 14, when the pair parked outside a Simon Way house and barged past a 61-year-old woman as she opened the front door.

The crooks, described as white men wearing black hoodies with their faces covered, stormed inside and made off with around £500 in cash along with wedding rings valued at £2,000.

PC Paul Rose said: “It’s clear these men knew exactly what they wanted. If you saw anything suspicious or recognise the descriptions, please come forward.”
